_I'm a seasonal friend, only spoken to when it's raining. Always there for your problems, but when I have one I can't find you. I'm playing marcopolo in an empty pool. Calling out for somebody. Anybody. But nobody will come. You won't come. You're nowhere to be found. You hear me, but won't respond; unattracted to my sound.

We used to be so close but now all I want to have "between us" is distance.

It's obvious there's not enough room for me and you in this city. Just like there's not enough 'sorry' in the world to satisfy your need for pity. Suck it up and smile. When the clouds start to part and you "repair" your heart, you'll forget all about me. John who?...

Kick the legs out from under me. Take the happiness from my smile. You can't be held responsible for your faults or flaws, I understand. It's my problem. I did this. I deserve this. (How do you see any logic in this?)

But it won't get me down. Ever. 'Cause everytime I'm blamed for something. Everytime that you turn green inside and lash out at me. Everytime that tears fall for no apparent reason. I ask myself if I should I just drop it to make everybody happy. I won't drop it. Do your worst. The pros outweigh the cons. I'll take rainy days.
